SHM Smith Hodgkinson have just concluded the sale of Brooks soft drinks and bottling facility for over £370,000
Items for sale at the auction included a water treatment plant, PTE bottle blow moulding machines, mixing and carbonating equipment and associated packaging and palletising items.
The auction took place at the end of February at the company’s premises in Hereford. The latest computer technology was used for the sale as it was broadcast in real-time over the internet.
Ian Maycock at shm comments: “The auction attracted bidders from all over the globe including significant purchasers from South Africa, Tanzania, Asia and North America as well as the UK and Europe. The bulk of the items were sold for export in a combination of complete lines and individual items.”
