| SHM to auction off premium food manufacturing equipment |
SHM Smith Hodgkinson, the UK’s leading auctioneer, appraiser and valuer of business assets has been appointed on behalf of KPMG to sell-off food manufacturing equipment for Bonne Bouche Frozen (UK) Ltd in the largest sale of food manufacturing equipment of the year.
Bonne Bouche Frozen (UK) Ltd is a frozen cake and dessert manufacturer based in Hartlepool which went into liquidation, for the third time, in February 2007.
The worldwide sale is set to take place from 16th to 19th April and will be broadcast live and interactive over the Internet. Items up for auction include the full range of branded food manufacturing equipment.
Ian Maycock, director, SHM Smith Hodgkinson commented: “This auction is set to be the largest sale of food manufacturing equipment of the year and presents an excellent opportunity to acquire premium quality, branded equipment.”
Other items going under the hammer include spiral freezers, continuous through fee ovens, mixers, depositors and associated packaging equipment.
Items in the sale can be viewed at the Bonne Bouche Frozen (UK) Ltd plant in Hartlepool between 9.00am and 4.00pm from Tuesday 3rd to Thursday 5th and from Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th April. Alternative dates are by appointment only. The online auction will officially start at 10.00am on Monday 16th April.
