| Worldwide interest in sale of fleece manufacturing plant |
Gorlitz Fleece’s fabric manufacturing plant has been put up for sale following the company’s move into administration last year and the failure to find a buyer for the business as a going concern.
The sale by tender attractedg worldwide interest and included a range of knitting, dyeing and finishing equipment. It is being organised by SHM Smith Hodgkinson.
Plant in the sale includes Monarch, Pai Lung, Keum Yong and Camber circular knitting machines, Calator inspection and rolling machines and Jemco suction piece turning-out machines.
Dyeing and finishing equipment available includes Then Airflow jet dyeing machines, Pozzi hydro extractors, Trent tumble dryers, a range of Mario Crosta GARZATURA and CIMATURA wire raising, napping and shearing machines and La Meccanica inspection and batching machines.
In addition, there is a range of warehouse racking and order pickers as well as sewing machines, quality control and laboratory equipment. |
